INNERGY has carried out the improvement project for the district heating with biomass of the University of Valladolid, which will be fully operational in the second half of 2017.
To improve the efficiency of the heating system, INNERGY under its brand ERATIC has developed a new model of hot water boiler in Monobloc format and with a mobile grill. Moreover, the 5MW equipment flexibilizes the choice of fuel, allowing for the possibility to use several different types of biomass.
By increasing the heating capacity of the district heating, not only the heat needs of the UVA, but also the public buildings in its network will be covered. The savings in energy consumption and increase of the useful life of the equipment will provide a greater competitiveness to the users of the thermal power station. With this project that reduces CO2 emissions, the Public Society of Infrastructure and Environment of Castilla y León (SOMACYL) demonstrates its commitment to change the energy model, betting on business and environmental sustainability.
