ELECTRICITY GENERATION

By using your waste, the INNERGY solution can provide electricity through organic fluid or steam.

Energy generation via an ORC module

  1. Using your waste as an energy source we generate hot gases, which on passing through the boiler, heat the thermal oil circuit until the fluid reaches a high temperature.
  2. The thermal oil heats the secondary circuit that contains the organic fluid from the ORC. Thanks to its special characteristics, the fluid in this second circuit evaporates and activates the turbine which, together with a generator, produces electricity.
  3. A cooling system (or the consumers themselves) dissipates the heat generated in the module, returning the fluid in the secondary circuit to its liquid state, thereby ending the cycle and returning to the start of the system.
  4. In the condenser of the ORC module hot water or saturated steam is obtained, which can be made use of the processes that require heat: drying, industrial processes, domestic hot water, heating or to generate cold via an absorption machine, amongst others.

Steam system to produce electricity

  1. Using your waste as a source of energy we generate hot gases which, as they pass through the boiler, heat the water circuit until their temperature is high enough to generate saturated/superheated steam.
  2. The steam activates the turbine, which, together with a generator, produce electricity.
  3. A cooling system (or the consumers themselves) dissipates the heat generated in the module, returning the fluid in the secondary circuit to its liquid state, thereby ending the cycle and returning to the start. The hot water is returned to the degasified/condensation tank to end the cycle.

WASTES TEST PLANTS

In order to minimize design risk in WASTE TO ENERGY plants we put at your disposal our industry plant for dryings and combustion tests, consisting of 4 facilities (2 rotary kilns, 2 dryers and 600 m2 of warehouse available for test development). The plant is ready to handle any type of waste, and equipment will be selected based on the characteristics and properties of the products.
