ELECTROTERM® power stations make best use of the chemical energy available in biomasses in order to jointly generate electricity and heat for multiple applications. These plants consist mainly of a combustion chamber, thermal oil boiler and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) module. Their operating principle is based on the following steps:
PRIMARY BOILER NOMINAL THERMAL OIL TEMPERATURE
SECONDARY BOILER NOMINAL THERMAL OIL TEMPERATURE
25/35 ºC for ET-HRS 12 1MW, 12 STD
24/37 ºC for ET-HRS 24 STD
25/40 ºC for ET-HRS 32 STD
Thermal oil in closed circuit
Long working life of the facility
Quick return on investment
From 2 to 5 years
Increased revenue from use of the heat
Up to 40%
Ease-of-use in commissioning, operation and maintenance
Minimum maintenance and personnel requirements
Fully automated, continuous operation
Does not alter the workflow in the production process
High efficiency at partial load
Absence of high pressures or corrosion problems
