Versatility and Reliability in Industrial Steam Boilers with Biomass

Steam Boilers with Biomass

INNERGY biomass steam boilers for industrial use are available in multiple configurations, such as fire-tube, 100% water-tube or water-fire-tube. Each technology is applied with the aim of offering wide versatility in the use of fuels. Like all INNERGY industrial boilers, these are designed and manufactured to provide maximum reliability, with low maintenance costs.
The steam boilers fueled by biomass are modular and are divided into parts according to their size, thus facilitating assembly and installation in the most suitable place for the process and daily use of our clients.

We have developed innovative designs and techniques for a wide range of biomass and industrial waste intended for energy generation, process application and cogeneration, with capacities from 1 TPH up to 200 TPH (with combustion), 400 TPH (without combustion) and at up to 110 bar with 540 °C.

Combustion Solutions

INNERGY incorporates the most optimal combustion solution for each application and fuel, with the following technologies:

  • Fixed grill: This technology consists of a fixed structure on which the fuel is placed. It is suitable for fuels with low humidity and uniform size. Combustion is carried out in a controlled manner, ensuring efficient combustion and minimal production of unburned fuel.
  • Reciprocating mobile grill: This grill moves reciprocally to facilitate the mixing and combustion of fuel. It is ideal for fuels of various sizes and with higher humidity. This movement allows for better air distribution and greater combustion efficiency.
  • Rotary furnace: In this system, the fuel is introduced into a rotating cylinder that ensures a homogeneous mixture and complete combustion. It is especially useful for fuels that are difficult to burn and have high humidity.
  • Fluidized bed: This system uses a bed of granular material that is fluidized with air. The fuel burns in suspension, allowing for uniform and efficient combustion. It is suitable for a wide range of fuels and is characterized by low emissions and high efficiency.

Injection of air and recirculated gases: It is carried out through various circuits designed to control combustion, increase performance and reduce unburned fuel. In the hearth area, preheated atmospheric air is introduced in several phases, favoring the control of combustion and minimizing the production of carbon monoxide and unburned fuel.

Automatic lighter systems: Conveniently sized for a wide variety of fuels.

Automatic extraction of ashes and slag: The lower module incorporates a wet automatic extraction system, which seals the assembly and reduces the exit temperature of the ashes and slag for subsequent management.

Cleaning and Automation Systems

All our biomass boilers incorporate automatic soot blower type cleaning systems, adapted to each design, which reduce maintenance time. In addition, they can incorporate automation and peripherals common in biomass steam boilers.

  • Additional gas particle treatment systems using electrofilter or bag filter.

  • NOx emissions reduction systems.

  • Pipe networks and regulating elements connecting the biomass thermal oil boiler with consumers.

  • Automatic combustion controllers

  • Temperature and pressure sensors

  • Remote monitoring and control systems

  • Automatic valves and actuators

  • Energy management systems
