The UJI (Jaume I University of Castellón) will build in 2018 the first phase of the faculty of health sciences, using INNERGY electrical panels.
This project was awarded in 2015 to the construction company BECSA, which, through its installer INERTEC, selected INNERGY as the company in charge of manufacturing the electrical panels that will distribute electricity to the building.
The INNERGY engineering team has developed the control and power panels that will support the electrical installation. In the specific case of the Faculty of Health Sciences building, the electrical control panels will support other smaller panels in charge of functions such as air conditioning and hot water.
The building, which is expected to accommodate 1,600 students, stands out for having four green leaves from the Green Building Council of Spain, one of the strictest certifications in environmental matters. All the buildings that will form the new university complex have been designed in accordance with environmental standards that aim for the highest energy efficiency.
Currently, the bidding for the second phase of this complex, which will include, among others, research spaces and teaching facilities, is under way.
